Don't put another down payment on the oil in Iran

Critique went well today.  I think my professor wanted to take a nap during my presentation...considering the dreamy atmosphere I was trying to create, I took that as a compliment.

I re-downloaded The Unicorns album last night.  I miss sitting in my old apartment and singing their silly songs with my sister as she slaves away in the background on her sewing machines.

Over the past few months I have managed to accidently loose a little weight.  Not entirely sure HOW I dropped down from 135 to 127 pounds.  Part of me thinks its the fact that I really just don't eat that much meat...or maybe its because I don't exactly cook myself anything.  *shrugs*  Whatever, I'll take it.

Also, the other day I found this amazing leather and fur vest at the famous Denton Thrift.  I feel so rock 'n roll when I pair it with some black skinnies and my brown-leather boots.  I'll take a picture of it sometime and show it to the 4 people who possibly read this blog.

The Good Ones

The wind blew into town yesterday, picking up the dust and leaves from all those times before.  It blew through my hair, crazy, and sticking particles of earth into my eyes.  But today the air is cool and the sun is warm.  The electric blue zenith above me seems to glow with an otherworldly aura. Today is good.  Things are good.  Things are never as bad as they seem, and the Good Ones are always there to pull me through.

I don't know what I want but I know the feelings creeping into my bones.

This was all an experiment gone horrible.  It's time for some refocusing on what is really important and realize that I can't dodge my responsibilities.  I guess I just miss you, and I guess I also have learned to love where I am.
